[Hiring] Senior Sales Manager @ChargePoint

Role Description

• Own the full sales cycle for a portfolio of enterprise accounts — from first conversation through to close — and grow revenue across both existing relationships and new business within CPOs, retail, hospitality, amusement & recreation, and telecoms.
• Build and execute a territory plan for the UK that identifies the highest-value opportunities across charge point operators and destination verticals, leverages ChargePoint’s channel partners and resellers, and sequences deals with discipline.
• Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder organisations: engage operations directors, property managers, sustainability leads, procurement teams and C-suite decision-makers, often within the same deal.
• Develop consultative, solution-led proposals that combine ChargePoint’s hardware, software and energy management capabilities into outcomes your customers care about.
• Maintain a clean, accurate pipeline in Salesforce and deliver reliable forecasts.
• Collaborate closely with Solutions Engineering, Marketing and Customer Success teams to deliver a seamless experience from pre-sale through deployment.
• Stay close to the evolving UK charging landscape: understand CPO business models, OZEV grant programmes, the UK’s ZEV mandate trajectory, and how destination charging is becoming a competitive differentiator.

Qualifications

• Enterprise sales credibility in complex environments — at least five years of closing experience selling technical or SaaS solutions to large organisations.
• Territory-building discipline — ability to build a market from a plan and identify high-value targets.
• Consultative, outcome-led selling — ability to build proposals around what the customer cares about.
• Fluency in the UK charging landscape — understanding of CPO business models, destination charging economics, and related challenges.
• Forecast reliability and pipeline discipline — maintain a clean, accurate Salesforce pipeline and take personal accountability for the quality of forecasts.

Requirements

• At least five years of enterprise sales experience, ideally selling technical or SaaS solutions to large organisations.
• Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota, with complex deals personally originated, shaped, and closed.
• Comfortable building a territory from a plan — identifying targets and managing prospecting alongside inbound pipeline.
• Understanding of the UK charging ecosystem or ability to get up to speed quickly.
• Clear and credible communication skills, whether presenting to a C-suite audience or briefing internal stakeholders.
• Based in the United Kingdom and willing to travel regularly across the territory.
