Role Description

What You'll Do

• Partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, shape deal strategy, and win enterprise deals
• Lead technical discovery and bring customer use cases to life with tailored, outcome-driven demos
• Design and run proofs of concept with clear success criteria to prove business value and accelerate deal cycles
• Use AI tools and automation to speed up research, demo builds, RFP questionnaire responses, and account planning

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience as a sales engineer or solutions consultant in enterprise SaaS, with a track record of winning large deals
• Executive presence and AI credibility to engage senior leaders on generative and agentic AI (LLMs, RAG, agents, guardrails, governance) and turn technical capabilities into business value and a clear reason to choose eGain.
• Hands-on understanding of APIs, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and integration patterns, with the ability to explain them clearly to any audience
• AI-first way of working, with a track record of using AI tools to automate and scale sales engineering work

Requirements

• Written test
• Aptitude section - this is a GRE style test (60 minutes or less)
• Functional section - this is a take-home test
• Panel interview
