Role Description
The Sales Representative will be responsible for growing and maintaining sales of commercial laundry products within their assigned accounts. This position will work directly with the General Manager and/or Sales Manager of the assigned segment to generate and convert leads into sales.
Key aspects of this position include:

Creation and maintenance of business relationships

Pre- and post-sales support in various areas while following quality standards policies and procedures
The assigned sales territory for this role is the Philadelphia, PA market.
Qualifications
-
High School diploma or equivalent required
-
Work experience in sales or account management preferred, or recent college graduates with adaptability to a changing environment

Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered

Proficient computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred
-
Mechanical aptitude with regard to machinery and equipment is highly desirable
Requirements

Leverage company directed sales programs, promotions, and strategies to achieve sales volume and profit targets

Develop and execute aggressive plans to visit and catalogue every customerβs location within the targeted market(s)

Surveys each Laundromat visited to identify age, brand, and mix of equipment

Track information collected in defined CRM database and own follow up

Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with accounts

Responsible for providing sales forecasts and managing sales funnel

Create and submit monthly site visit plans; evaluate and identify opportunities for improvement

Execute market blitz activities within assigned target markets

Understand and explain all facets of vended laundry products

Stay current on competitive activity and provide feedback to identify emerging market trends

May represent company at trade shows and present at sales meetings

Standard and Physical Requirements

Position may involve standing for long periods, manual dexterity, stooping, bending

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. rarely; assistive devices will be provided for greater weight items

Regularly required to talk and hear; use hands to manipulate objects or controls

Typical conditions of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting; close vision, and ability to adjust focus

Must have a valid driverβs license
