[Hiring] Sales Development Representative @Solar Path

Role Description

A fully remote, phone-based role. You are the first person every new homeowner enquiry speaks to. Your job is to make contact fast, qualify properly and book surveys into the field team’s diaries, so our sales reps spend their time in front of homeowners rather than chasing leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Call every new inbound homeowner enquiry as soon as it lands
• Qualify homeowners on property, roof, energy usage, budget and timeline
• Explain the basics of Solar PV, battery storage and SEAI grants
• Book surveys into the field reps’ diaries
• Work every lead through a set follow-up cadence of calls, texts and emails
• Re-engage older enquiries and quotes that have gone quiet
• Log every call, outcome and next step in the CRM
• Hand over each booked survey with full notes to the rep and admin team
• First call to every new lead within 5 minutes during working hours
• 60+ outbound calls per day
• Weekly targets for surveys booked and survey show rate
• No lead left uncontacted or unlogged

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a phone-based sales, SDR or appointment-setting role (B2C preferred)
• Confident on the phone, with strong listening and qualifying skills
• Disciplined about follow-up and keeping records up to date
• Self-motivated and organised working remotely
• A quiet place to work and reliable broadband
• Solar, energy or home improvement experience a plus

Requirements

• Base salary of €36,000 – €38,000 DOE + commission
