Role Description

As a Remote Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be the spearhead of top-of-funnel pipeline growth, engaging high-value commercial prospects and qualifying business opportunities. In this role, you will leverage enterprise intelligence tools to research key decision-makers and execute targeted outbound phone campaigns across North America. Your primary mission is to convert cold prospects into high-intent sales meetings for dedicated outside sales representatives physically stationed on the ground in each target region. Key Responsibilities

• Execute High-Volume Outbound Cold Calling:
  • Conduct 60+ targeted cold calls daily to key enterprise decision-makers across designated US sales territories to generate top-of-funnel sales momentum.
• Secure High-Quality Sales Meetings:
  • Book qualified, high-intent meeting appointments for regional outside sales representatives, ensuring seamless handoffs and complete pre-meeting briefing notes.
• Leverage Market Intelligence Tools:
  • Utilize CivicIQ and Google Alerts to monitor public sector triggers, municipal budgets, and breaking industry news, identifying high-priority sales triggers before competitors.
• Conduct Advanced Prospecting:
  • Leverage ZoomInfo and sales intelligence tools to build clean, targeted lead lists, map decision-maker hierarchies, and identify key stakeholders.
• Maintain Rigorous Salesforce Hygiene:
  • Track all outreach activities, call dispositions, contact updates, and meeting confirmations within Salesforce with 100% data integrity and zero missed follow-ups.
• Drive Pitch Mastery & Objection Handling:
  • Deliver compelling value propositions, navigate gatekeepers effectively, and overcome objections to convert neutral prospects into active sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in outbound phone sales, cold calling, or B2B SDR/BDR roles within enterprise or commercial sectors (Required).
• Near-native / C2-level English proficiency with exceptional verbal articulation, active listening skills, and zero hesitation initiating phone conversations with C-level/VP executives (Required).
• Demonstrated hands-on experience using CRM and intelligence platforms, specifically Salesforce and ZoomInfo (Required).
• Familiarity or prior usage of CivicIQ or similar public intelligence/government tracking software and Google Alerts for trigger-based sales outreach (Preferred).
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly outbound call volumes and qualified meeting setting quotas (Required).
• Reliable remote setup, including a quiet, dedicated home office space, high-speed fiber internet, and a professional noise-canceling headset (Required).
• Ability to work full-time US business hours (e.g., EST/CST) consistently from South Africa (Required).
