[Hiring] Regional Sales Executive @HealthEquity

Role Description

The Regional Sales Executive is responsible for selling HealthEquity’s core products in a defined region. This includes:

• Prospect identification
• Pipeline development
• Contract closing for distribution into HealthEquity’s current partner base and direct to employers

This role supports small, medium, and large groups (251 to 3,500 US Based Employees). Additional tasks include:

• Sales presentations
• Attending/leading conferences
• Partner trainings
• Cultivating producing relationships with brokers, partners, and employers in their assigned region

This role typically reports to an Associate Vice President (AVP) Regional Sales.

Territory: Northern California and Nevada. Northern California residency or willingness to relocate is required; Northern California market experience is a must.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of successful sales and/or account management, with a history of achieving or exceeding performance goals
• 3+ years of experience selling within the employee benefits, healthcare, insurance, or related industry
• Experience selling Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Consumer Directed Benefits (CDBs), or similar employer-sponsored benefit solutions strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of benefit products such as HSAs, HRAs, FSAs, COBRA, commuter benefits, wellness programs, and retirement savings plans strongly preferred
• Experience as a benefits broker or consultant, or selling employee benefits and healthcare solutions through broker and consultant channels, with established relationships and the ability to strategically influence key partners
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building trusted client relationships
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills
• Proven adaptability in navigating evolving business priorities, market conditions, and customer needs
• Ability to effectively train and enable health plan sales and account management teams on HealthEquity solutions
• Strong organizational skills, time management, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Effective negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes and drive business growth
• Active Life and Health Insurance license preferred

Requirements

• Overnight travel, up to 50% of the time
