Role Description
Work within the Company to ensure Tierra America’s sales targets are met and improved, with a focus on both After Market and small OEMs within the assigned area.
Responsibilities and Duties

Responsible for selling Tierra’s products/services, by managing and expanding existing accounts within the AM/distribution/OEM sales channels.

Responsible for selling Tierra’s products/services, by finding, generating and developing new AM/distribution/OEM partners in order to expand the business within the assigned Territory.

Develops a detailed Territory Plan for the assigned territory that includes:

Market size and growth
-
Market segmentation
-
Market trends
-
Geographic attractiveness
-
Product requirements within the territory
-
Opportunity and gap analysis
-
Competitive threats
-
Prepares, in conjunction with management, annual and periodic rolling sales forecasts, and critically examines performance against targets.

Writes the economic proposal, guarantees the acquisition of orders, supports the management of billings.

Maintain customers/dealer/end-user database (CRM).

Completes and submits monthly territory reports on all sales, support and marketing activities.

Schedules, organizes and attends demonstrations, sales and support training on Tierra products/services to prospects and customers.

Collects and documents customer problems/needs, creates awareness and demand of company products.

Provides feedback and useful information to the Product team for prioritizing features and enhancing products and solutions.

Works with marketing and technical support to develop and maintain the appropriate technical information and promotional material to support Tierra America’s sales and marketing programs and initiatives.

Attends Trade Shows.
Qualifications
-
3-5 years of proven working experience as a Sales Account Manager.

Self-motivated and able to work without supervision.

Ability to perform under pressure within a team environment.

Experience or knowledge of Construction or Agricultural industries.

Ability to negotiate and build strong relationships.
-
Strong organizational skills.
-
Excellent communication with the ability to write articulate and effective proposals and reports.
-
Technical skills: electronic components applied to machines, electrical skills for hardware installation, web and embedded applications, CAN bus systems and data analyzers, Industrial Equipment, Telecommunications and Telematics.

Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

Spanish language skills are a plus.
