Role Description
As a Regional Director of Sales at Traversal, you will be responsible for building and scaling our Western region GTM operations. You will lead a high-impact team of Enterprise Account Executives, while also playing a hands-on role in navigating complex technical evaluations and guiding high-impact proof-of-concepts.
Responsibilities

Regional Strategy & Leadership:
Define and execute the sales strategy for the Western region, overseeing outbound prospecting, qualification, and complex contract negotiations.

Team Development:
Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of high-performing Account Executives, fostering a culture of technical storytelling and excellence.

Technical Partnership:
Collaborate closely with the Sales Engineering team to ensure the successful execution of deep-dive demos and technical proof-of-concepts.

Product Feedback Loop:
Serve as a key voice of the customer, relaying field insights from the Western market to Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap.

Stakeholder Management:
Represent Traversal with credibility when engaging with C-suite executives and senior platform engineering leaders.
Qualifications

8+ years in enterprise SaaS sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role, preferably within technical fields like observability or infrastructure.

Experience exceeding regional sales targets in early-stage or high-growth environments where you have built pipelines from the ground up.

Demonstrated ability to lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles focusing on technical decision-makers.

Strong ability to communicate effectively with engineering buyers and understand SRE workflows.

A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and takes a high-ownership approach to scaling regional operations.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time role is $150,000β$300,000 + OTE, plus equity and benefits.
