Role Description

Armor is seeking a highly capable individual who possesses the technical knowledge and customer-centricity to guide companies towards enhanced resilience, compliance, and protection utilizing Armor’s private cloud and MDR solutions. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Engaging with sales prospects, current customers, and partners as a technical expert.
• Understanding customer pain through intelligent conversations, curiosity, and empathy.
• Analyzing customer requirements and understanding their use cases and desired outcomes.
• Crafting Armor solutions and services that meet customer needs.
• Developing actionable plans and strategies to achieve customer use cases.
• Supporting customers through onboarding to ensure proper implementation and achievement of promised outcomes.

This is a remote position based in the US; however, there is a strong preference for Dallas-based individuals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Cloud or Security Sales Engineering / Solution Consulting experience.
• Strong cloud expertise across public and private cloud environments.
• Hands-on presales experience with MDR / managed security solutions.
• Strong cybersecurity and compliance knowledge.
• Strong customer-facing presales skills.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to partner with Account Executives as a technical seller.
• Experience with private cloud/hypervisor technologies, such as VMware, Proxmox, Nutanix, Hyper-V, or similar.
• Experience with Microsoft security technologies, particularly Sentinel, Defender XDR, or Defender for Cloud.
• Experience with security and compliance requirements in regulated industries.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
