Qualifications

High school graduate. Some college or a bachelorβs degree preferred.

Active 2-20 or 20-44 Florida Property and Casualty license.

Minimum of 3-5 years of agency or relevant insurance experience.

Knowledge and experience working with carriers specific to the Florida property insurance market required.

Sales oriented and ability to meet or exceed sales goals.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook; Applied Epic experience is a plus.
Requirements

Respond to inbound sales inquiries and assigned leads in a timely and professional manner.

Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive, exceptional customer service.

Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client insurance requirements, preferences, and priorities; recommend appropriate coverage solutions.

Obtain and review quotes from appropriate insurance carriers and markets, ensuring accuracy, eligibility, coverage, limits, deductibles, premiums, and underwriting requirements.

Customize insurance packages based on individual client needs and preferences; advise clients on policies that are best suited for their needs.

Present and explain insurance policy options to clients, highlighting coverage details, benefits, and premiums.

Close new business sales and meet established monthly, quarterly, and/or annual production goals.

Ensure completed sales are accurately documented and transitioned to the appropriate service team.
