[Hiring] Outreach and Admissions Counselor @Mansfield Hall

Role Description

Mansfield Hall is a living and learning community for neurodivergent college students, students who are capable of college but not yet fully ready for total independence. This role focuses on Canopy College Coaching.

As our Outreach and Admissions Counselor, you will:

• Manage incoming inquiries and guide mission-appropriate students and families through the full sales cycle, from first contact to closing to program handoff.
• Meet enrollment targets across all of our residential sites.
• Connect with families by phone, email, video conference, digital communication, and on-site visits as needed.
• Travel across the country for about 2-6 weeks a year to build and maintain relationships with schools, external stakeholders, and industry professionals.
• Build brand awareness and open new referral streams while managing existing stakeholder relationships.
• Work with the Vice President, Enrollment Management and the admissions team to enhance and diversify marketing and outreach.
• Collaborate on branding, collateral, web, and digital presence to clearly communicate our mission, vision, and values.
• Act as the liaison between the Canopy College Coaching team and the admissions team.
• Visit one of our residential sites regularly, build trust with staff, and provide backup tour coverage when admissions staffing is short.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, behavioral sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two to five years of professional experience in sales, business development, admissions, enrollment, or outreach.
• A demonstrated sales track record and an established network of referral sources.
• Two or more years of experience working in or with diverse learners and higher education settings.
• Knowledge of neurodiversity, Autism, Executive Functioning Challenges, and related topics.
• Consultative selling skills with the ability to understand student and family needs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self-management and time management skills to prioritize leads and meet enrollment targets independently.
• Adaptability and resilience in challenging situations.
• Competence with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and video conferencing tools.
• High standards of professionalism and integrity.
• A dedicated, professional home office with reliable high-speed internet.

• You are comfortable being measured on enrollment targets and conversions.
• You prefer to build new referral streams rather than wait for leads.
• You are flexible with your schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• You are willing to travel for 2-6 weeks a year.
• You can work remotely from Illinois, Massachusetts, Oregon, Vermont, or Wisconsin.
