[Hiring] Outbound Sales Specialist @Staffstream

Role Description

We’re looking for confident, target-driven phone sales professionals who can turn inbound enquiries into booked and attended patient appointments. This is not a reception or general admin role. It is a high-volume phone-based sales and intake position where you will:

• Contact prospective patients
• Take them through a structured screening process
• Handle objections
• Confidently ask for the booking

The practice receives a consistent flow of inbound enquiries through paid advertising, and speed of response is critical. You’ll be expected to:

• Work within a structured process
• Maintain accurate CRM records
• Follow up leads consistently
• Perform against clear activity and conversion expectations

Work Schedule

There are two part-time schedules available, both 20 hours per week, based on Sydney/Australian Eastern Time.

Position A

• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Thursday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Position B

• Monday: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

What You’ll Be Doing

• Contact new patient enquiries quickly and consistently during your shift
• Make high-volume outbound calls and follow a structured contact cadence
• Guide prospective patients through a scripted health screening process
• Handle common objections, hesitations, and price concerns confidently
• Ask directly for the appointment and move qualified prospects toward booking
• Follow up leads through phone, SMS, and email
• Own your booked patients through confirmation and attendance
• Maintain accurate, real-time CRM records
• Track call outcomes, objections, next actions, and booking attribution
• Work toward clear activity, conversion, and response-time targets

The role specifically requires every new enquiry to be contacted within five minutes during rostered hours, with structured follow-up and accurate CRM logging.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Proven outbound phone sales experience
• Experience in telesales, cold calling, appointment setting, enrolment, lead conversion, or a similar target-driven role
• Experience working toward measurable sales KPIs
• Confidence handling objections and rejection
• Strong CRM discipline
• Clear and easily understood spoken English
• Ability to follow a structured script while still sounding conversational
• Reliability and willingness to work a fixed roster

• Your conversion or appointment-setting rate
• The sales or activity targets you were measured against
• How you performed against those targets

• Appointment setting or intake experience in healthcare, allied health, dental, aesthetics, education, gyms, weight loss, medical devices, or another consultative environment
• Experience using structured eligibility or screening questionnaires
• Previous commission-based sales experience
