[Hiring] OEM/Machine Builder - Account Manager @Siemens

Role Description

The OEM Sales Professional is responsible for development, exploitation and maximization of account penetration and profitable growth of assigned OEMs / Machine Builders for the Digital Industries portfolio of products and solutions. He/she represents Digital Industries in all sales/strategic activities and acts as an interface between the OEM and Siemens.

• Enter, Expand, and Defend accounts.
• Achievement of account business targets (KPIs) in the respective customer base.
• Focus on specification, account development, competitive conversions, and revenue generation leading to market share growth.
• Self-sufficient in terms of product, technology, and solution knowledge at an executive level and first level engineering discussions.

This role is remote but the candidate must be located in Houston, TX.

You'll make an impact by:

• Leading strategic OEM conversions to drive market growth and expand our customer base.
• Developing and implementing cutting-edge automation and digitalization solutions that create measurable competitive advantages for our customers.
• Elevating Siemens' brand presence and market position in the US through strategic initiatives and relationship building.
• Creating and maintaining transparent pipeline reporting systems that provide real-time visibility to global Digital Industries leadership.
• Spearheading the adoption of innovative technologies and solutions within the greater Houston and Louisiana markets, setting new industry standards.
• Utilizing Digital Thread, Challenger approach and Industrial Metaverse in selling process at most customers including in Customer Business Plans, Opportunity Plans and Successful Meeting Plans.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent GED.
• 8+ years of Technical Sales in one or more of the relevant product/solution sets: Factory Automation, Motion Control, Services, Networking and Power, Digitalization Software.
• Prior experience or working knowledge of multi-channel go-to-market strategies, including both Distribution channels and Direct selling.
• Experience engaging and selling to C-level customers.
• Travel anticipated 50-60% within the Houston and Louisiana markets.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company required sponsorship.

Requirements

• Experience in the OEM Machinery market.
• Industry experience in Oil and Gas.
• A Bachelor's Degree with a preferred major in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Computer Science.
