Role Description

The Wessex Mint is hiring for a role that involves hosting live shows across various platforms, selling gold, silver, and collectibles in real time. The person hired will become the face of the Australian operation, building a community and engaging with collectors.

• Hosting live shows Monday to Friday across TikTok Shop, Whatnot, eBay Live, and our own platform.
• Building a community that turns up for you, not just for the deal.
• Learning the product properly to answer collector questions confidently.
• Running the show floor: pace, energy, offers, banter, and closing.
• Daily prep before going on air and a short wrap after coming off.
• Working with the campaign and creative team to sharpen the format week by week.
• Feeding back audience insights, as you will hear it first.

Qualifications

• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Stamina to hold a live audience for a full shift and return the next day.
• Credibility to instill trust in customers spending real money on bullion.
• Coachable, with a willingness to receive direct feedback.
• Organised enough to manage your own prep and admin without supervision.

Requirements

• No live selling experience required; training provided from scratch.
• Helpful but not necessary: experience in live selling, presenting, streaming, or content creation.
• Experience in sales, retail, hospitality, promo work, acting, teaching, or similar roles.
• An existing audience of your own is a plus.

Benefits

• Base salary of $80,000 AUD from day one, rising to $100,000 AUD in six months.
• Monthly challenge earnings worth $50,000 AUD a year at target, live from day one.
• On target earnings of $150,000 AUD a year from month six.
