Role Description

Family owned Agency is seeking an experienced, fully licensed Life Insurance Sales Specialist to focus exclusively on helping our existing clients identify and address their life insurance needs. This is not a traditional insurance sales role where you are expected to build a book from scratch. Our Agency has a significant existing book of business, creating a substantial opportunity for the right salesperson to proactively contact current clients, uncover needs, and cross-sell appropriate life insurance solutions.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable spending a significant portion of the day on the phone, knows how to create opportunities through consistent outreach and follow-up, and is strongly motivated by sales results and uncapped earning potential.

Primary Responsibilities

• Proactively call and engage existing agency clients to identify life insurance opportunities.
• Conduct a high volume of outbound calls and client follow-ups each day.
• Review existing client relationships to identify households and business clients with potential life insurance needs.
• Conduct life insurance needs assessments and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Quote, present, and close life insurance policies.
• Consistently follow up with prospects throughout the sales process.
• Maintain an organized pipeline of opportunities and upcoming follow-ups.
• Document client conversations and sales activity within agency systems.
• Work collaboratively with Personal Lines and Commercial teams to identify life insurance opportunities.
• Meet or exceed established monthly production and activity goals.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and stay current on life insurance products and underwriting requirements.

Qualifications

• Active and current Life Insurance license.
• Previous life insurance sales experience.
• Strong understanding of life insurance products and the life insurance sales process.
• Comfortable making a significant volume of outbound calls every day.
• Strong phone, communication, relationship-building, and objection-handling skills.
• Confident asking for the sale and moving opportunities to a close.
• Highly organized with disciplined follow-up habits.
• Self-motivated and able to manage a sales pipeline independently.
• Results-oriented and motivated by financial incentives and uncapped earning potential.
