Role Description

The Key Account Regional Distribution Leader (KAM RDL) for the Electrical Markets Division serves as the field-based extension of the National Key Account Manager, driving growth and execution across assigned national distribution partners and strategic accounts. This role is responsible for executing national account strategies, developing key customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and aligning cross-functional resources to deliver sales, profitability, and market share objectives. The KAM RDL partners with distributor leadership, field sales teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of business plans, contracts, and growth initiatives across multiple regions and customer locations.

As a Key Account Regional Distribution Leader, you will make an impact by:

• Supporting National Key Account Managers in executing strategic business plans for assigned national accounts and distribution partners.
• Driving sales growth, market share expansion, and product conversion opportunities across multiple regions.
• Building and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders at national, regional, and local levels.
• Executing national agreements, contracts, pricing programs, RFQs, and promotional initiatives.
• Conducting business reviews to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and align growth strategies.
• Partnering with field sales, marketing, customer service, supply chain, and finance teams to support customer objectives.
• Leveraging analytics and customer insights to drive business planning, profitability, and strategic decision making.
• Delivering training, marketing, merchandising, and demand-generation programs that enhance customer engagement and growth.
• Serving as the primary field liaison supporting national account initiatives and execution.

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• Two (2) years of direct sales experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Current, valid Driver’s License.

• Four (4) years of sales, key account management, distribution, channel management, or business development experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Experience managing strategic customer or distribution relationships across multiple locations or regions.
• Strong business acumen with experience in pricing, profitability analysis, contracts, and business planning.
• Experience conducting business reviews and presenting recommendations to customer leadership.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Excel, and data-driven selling tools.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Requirements

• Work Location: Remote.
• Travel: May include up to 50% domestic/international.
