Role Description

• Support and further develop customer portfolios in all commercial and technical matters.
• Maintain a "healthy" opportunity pipeline in CRM, manage activities and tasks, ensuring all contacts are kept current.
• Acquire new business and further develop the existing product range.
• Advise customers during the product development and creation process in close cooperation with experts from Engineering R&D and create tailor-made and convincing offers.
• Continuously analyze market conditions, price levels, recognize trends, create strategies, and contribute actively to the achievement of operational goals and sustainable success.
• Ensure communication and implementation of the offering strategy in defined focus areas and implement strategic goals for profitable business growth in general industry focus markets.
• Manage and communicate the Key Account Plan, conduct consistent Key Account Meetings, and maintain a deep industry understanding.

Qualifications

• Determined, communicative, and customer-oriented personality with a high affinity for the elastomer industry.
• Ability to identify new opportunities in the general industry market and close them with new and existing customers.
• Good analytical, technical, and financial skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for cross-functional work; good team player with the right amount of autonomy.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

Requirements

• Work from home office and travel for customer visits, conferences, and within Datwyler.
