[Hiring] Key Account Manager @Vontier

Role Description

As Key Account Manager for the GAS region, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and strengthening Gilbarco Veeder-Root's presence across key strategic accounts. Acting as the primary customer contact within the region, you'll develop long-term partnerships, identify new opportunities, and lead the execution of our go-to-market strategy.

Working closely with colleagues across sales, business development, marketing, and operations, you'll help shape growth plans, influence customer strategies, and bring innovative solutions to market.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build, develop, and maintain trusted relationships with key customers across the GAS region
• Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring exceptional customer engagement and support
• Develop and execute account growth plans to achieve ambitious sales objectives
• Identify and convert new business opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts
• Create and manage a strong sales pipeline while driving sustainable revenue growth
• Lead customer negotiations and prepare compelling commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders
• Promote Gilbarco Veeder-Root's portfolio of products, services, and technology solutions
• Support the implementation of regional go-to-market and business growth strategies
• Collaborate with sales, business development, marketing, and channel teams to maximise opportunities
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings
• Drive market awareness initiatives and support the launch of new solutions and services

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Additional qualifications in project management, business development, marketing, or sales are beneficial

Requirements

• Proven success in Key Account Management and B2B sales environments
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing complex customer relationships
• Experience developing strategic account plans and delivering measurable business growth
• Understanding of solution-based selling, project sales, and partner-led business models
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience working with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
• Project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives effectively
• Fluent German and English language skills
