[Hiring] Key Account Manager @Orien Trade

Role Description

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing Orien Trade’s key B2B customer relationships within the German and Benelux regions. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, ensuring operational excellence, and strengthening long-term strategic partnerships with retailers, distributors, and e-commerce partners.

The position combines commercial planning, market development, and day-to-day account management. It requires a proactive and structured approach to drive revenue growth, secure brand visibility, and ensure that Orien Trade’s beauty portfolio is effectively represented in the local market.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, key account management, or business development, ideally in the beauty, FMCG, or retail sectors
• Bachelor's degree (Master's beneficial) with strong academic background ideally in business industry
• Strong understanding of retail operations, e-commerce, and distribution channels
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining long-term B2B relationships
• Experience in brand activation, merchandising, or product launch coordination is an advantage
• Fluent in English and German (minimum C1 level), additional languages beneficial

Requirements

• Manage and grow key B2B customer relationships, ensuring sales and partnership objectives are achieved
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing and annual agreements with assigned accounts
• Prepare and manage account sales plans, forecasts, performance reports and corrective actions
• Develop account-specific strategies to increase sales and strengthen market presence
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential key accounts
• Coordinate brand activations, campaigns, product launches and customer-facing events with marketing
• Collaborate with logistics, supply chain and finance to ensure smooth account operations
• Monitor product flow, stock levels and order accuracy for assigned customers
• Provide customer, competitor and market insights to support commercial decision-making
• Ensure account activities comply with applicable local business and retail regulations
