Role Description

As the Inside Sales Representative for KLB Steel, you will support customers throughout the order process by:

• Receiving and processing purchase orders
• Coordinating schedules
• Communicating updates
• Working with internal teams to address shipping, scheduling, and order-related concerns

This is a full-time, primarily remote opportunity for candidates located in Greater Cincinnati or Greater Dayton, offering competitive pay and benefits. Occasional regional travel is required to Cincinnati, Dayton, and KLB Steel’s location in New Madison, Ohio.

To be successful in this role, you will be a dependable, customer-focused professional with strong communication, recordkeeping, organizational, and follow-through abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in inside sales, customer service, order processing, account support, or project coordination is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
• Entry-level and junior-level candidates are encouraged to apply
• Previous steel or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required

Requirements

• Ability to receive, review, and process customer purchase orders accurately
• Ability to coordinate order timing, scheduling, delivery expectations, and follow-up
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a professional approach to customer questions and concerns
• Ability to manage multiple customer orders, projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
• High attention to detail in order processing, customer information, and recordkeeping
• Ability to work independently and remain productive in a remote work environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, email, and general business software
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, customer needs, and order timelines
