[Hiring] Inside Sales Account Manager @Globus family of brands

Role Description

The role of an Inside Sales Account Manager is to serve the external customers and internal partners by generating and increasing sales. In this role, account managers will manage mid-level travel agency accounts by:

• Implementing outbound calls and correspondence campaigns
• Building relationships with existing accounts
• Working with new accounts to mine and grow their business
• Providing problem solving for agencies that have contacted sales

Qualifications

• Noteworthy experience in a similar position within the sales and marketing field in the travel industry
• Managing sales accounts (knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and tools)
• Leisure travel product and destination knowledge, specifically Globus family of brands products, services, policies, features, and benefits
• Strong travel industry knowledge preferred
• Business acumen (business knowledge, competitor awareness, organization strategies)
• Professional, technical, and functional expertise on systems, department processes, and procedures
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Requirements

• Educating travel advisors on products, destinations, and promotions
• Generating marketing materials for travel advisors, including flyers, invitations, and customized email communication
• Servicing travel advisor questions regarding GVI products, promotions, destinations, and policies
• Onboarding new accounts, including Independent or home-based advisors (IC’s or HIP’s)
• Encouraging self-serve use of the Travel Advisor Portal (TAP)
• Participating in agent webinars/trainings and attending travel shows/events as needed
• Maintaining advisor/agency updates in the database (CRM)
• Developing and maintaining relationships with Business Development Managers and Account Managers
• Contributing to a team effort by accomplishing related results or projects

Education

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
