Role Description
Drive new business growth by identifying and securing transportation, trucking, and fleet accounts, from growing operators to established regional and national fleets.

Build strong relationships with prospects and clients by understanding their business, operational challenges, and risk management goals.

Develop and expand a robust pipeline of new business opportunities through networking, referrals, industry involvement, and targeted outreach.

Serve as a trusted advisor to transportation and fleet clients, delivering customized insurance and risk management solutions that support long-term success.

Partner with account management, service, and carrier teams to create competitive solutions and deliver an exceptional client experience.

Retain and grow existing accounts by identifying coverage gaps, uncovering new opportunities, and providing proactive service.

Lead client strategy discussions, presentations, and renewal meetings while maintaining executive-level relationships.

Mentor and support team members by sharing industry knowledge, sales strategies, and best practices.

Utilize technology, market intelligence, and industry trends to drive prospecting efforts and enhance client service.

Facilitate smooth account transitions and onboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for new clients.

Develop and execute a strategic business plan focused on revenue growth, market expansion, and production goals.

Foster strong relationships with carrier partners and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions and maximize opportunities for clients.

Represent the organization within the transportation and fleet industry through networking events, associations, and community involvement.
Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's degree, 1 year related experience, and appropriate insurance licensing required OR Bachelor's degree, participation in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP), and appropriate insurance licensing required OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years experience.

Preferred: Professional designation may be preferred, including CEBS, CPCU, CIC or ARM.
