[Hiring] External Wholesaler @Prudential Financial

Role Description

The External Wholesaler is responsible for representing all PGIM Global Wealth products and vehicles including:

• Mutual funds
• ETFs
• SMAs
• Alternative Investments
• CITs

Coverage will be Missouri and Iowa with the expectation that the person is based in the region. Firms targeted will include:

• Ameriprise
• Cetera
• LPL
• Osaic
• Raymond James
• Wells

The External Wholesaler is responsible for:

• Raising net new assets for the firm
• Servicing the firm's existing client base across Wirehouses, Regional Broker Dealers, and RIA Aggregator firms
• Clearly differentiating investment strategies and articulating benefits relative to competitors
• Demonstrating expert level understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction, capital markets, and industry-related topics

They will be based out of their respective home office that’s required to be in one of the major zones within their geographic region and have access to a major airport that serves all of their respective states.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with successful territory management and selling skills
• 5-7 years of experience in the asset management distribution industry
• 3-5 years of sales experience directly to financial intermediaries
• Required licenses: Series 7 and Series 63 or 65

Requirements

• Extensive travel in the field, approximately 80% of the time
• Strong communication skills for one-on-one, electronic, and group presentations
• Well organized and disciplined in sales systems and processes
• Ability to work with internal and external business partners to align resources to expected sales outcomes
