[Hiring] External Sales Representative @Empire HR Solutions

Role Description

We are seeking experienced External Sales Representatives for opportunities within the welding industry in Johannesburg, Rustenburg and East London. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years’ relevant sales experience, knowledge of welding products and equipment, and the ability to develop customer relationships and generate new business.

The successful candidates will:

• Identify new sales prospects, manage existing customer accounts and grow the company’s market share.
• Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, quotations and follow-ups.
• Be responsible for achieving monthly sales, rental and gross profit targets.

• welding machines and consumables
• gas and gas cutting equipment

• lifting equipment

• spares
• hand tools
• plasma cutting systems
• compressors
• PPE

Qualifications

• Matric is essential.
• A relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
• A valid Code 8 driver’s licence and own transport are required.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years’ relevant sales experience.
• Experience within the welding industry.
• Strong customer relationship management and business development skills.
• The ability to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Strong communication, negotiation and sales closing skills.
• Effective route planning, organisational and time management skills.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
• A proactive, target-driven approach to growing sales and market share.
