Role Description

Are you someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, explaining things in a way that makes sense, and making a positive impact on others? The Davis Agency is looking for motivated, service-minded individuals who want to build a rewarding career in insurance.

No prior insurance experience or active license is required to apply. You'll need to obtain the required insurance license before hire, and you can build your industry knowledge as you develop in the role. This is a fully remote opportunity with flexibility in where you work, provided you can obtain the appropriate license to serve clients in Kansas and/or Missouri.

What You'll Do

  • Explain insurance products and coverage options in a clear, approachable way.
  • Help clients evaluate their options and identify solutions suited to their circumstances.

  • Develop new client relationships through referrals, networking, and outreach.
  • Maintain relationships through consistent follow-up and ongoing policy reviews.
  • Guide clients through the application process and help them understand the next steps.
  • Provide a positive, supportive experience from the first conversation forward.

  • Participate in training and mentorship to develop your insurance knowledge and client service skills.
  • Learn effective sales strategies and best practices for building lasting relationships.
  • Manage your activities, follow-ups, and goals with consistency and accountability.

Qualifications

• Genuine desire to help people and make a positive difference in their lives.
• Teacher's mindset and enjoy explaining information, answering questions, and helping others understand their options.
• Clear communication and ability to build rapport with people from different backgrounds.
• Coachable, curious, and open to learning new skills.
• Take initiative, stay organized, and follow through on commitments.
• Comfortable working independently and motivated to achieve goals.
• Willing to obtain the required insurance license before hire.
• Experience in education, coaching, hospitality, customer service, sales, healthcare, or other people-focused fields can provide valuable transferable skills.

Requirements

• First-year earning potential: approximately $40,000–$80,000.
• 100% commission-based compensation: Earnings are tied to your sales and performance, with no guaranteed base salary.
• Uncapped income potential: Your earning opportunities can increase as your experience, skills, and results grow.
• Long-term growth: Earnings are expected to increase significantly over time for successful, consistent producers.
• Training and mentorship: Develop the knowledge and skills needed to grow in the insurance industry.
• Actual earnings vary based on individual performance, and income is not guaranteed.
