Role Description
Drive growth for Schneider Electric Industrial Automation by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, focusing on sectors like oil & gas, specialty chemicals, energy, and petrochemicals.

Understand client needs and develop technical proposals.

Conduct market research and collaborate with sales and subject matter experts.

Deliver technical demonstrations and close complex deals to increase revenue and market adoption of Schneider Electricβs industrial automation portfolio.

Manage the entire sales process from identifying prospects to negotiating contracts.

Drive business growth and meet annual orders for Schneider Electric Process Automation.

Grow Process Automation portfolio with new customers.

Strong emphasis on net new business sales.

Build and establish trusted advisor relationships at all levels within customer organizations.

Actively prospect and help drive lead generation programs.

Build accounts that become Schneider Electric customer success references.

Review public information (earning statements, press releases, investor presentations) for assigned accounts and competitors to remain updated on key industry trends and issues impacting prospects and customers.

Lead the development and execution of designated account plans and optimize sales cycles using value-based solution selling methodologies with a focus on case definition, return on investment, and business outcomes.

Communicate customer drivers, needs, sales strategy, and account plans to internal teams.

Ability to travel up to 70% in the I-10 Industrial corridor, from the Lake Charles to New Orleans area.
Qualifications

Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics.

5+ years of complex, solution selling sales experience in a Schneider Electric targeted industry with a net new focus.

Sales experience with Drives, DCS, PLC, Safety Systems, SCADA, and Cybersecurity selling into refineries and petrochemical plants.

Utilize business and financial knowledge to create value propositions.

Capability to understand Schneider Electric offerings and articulate those offerings to the industry and prospects.

Strategic sales, relationship, and account management experience at a major services organization, preferably on a global basis.
