[Hiring] C&I Sales Lead @Ostrom

Role Description

We are looking for an entrepreneurial C&I Sales Lead (m/f/d) to bring Ostrom's green energy revolution from households to businesses. Ostrom is one of Germany's fastest-growing digital energy suppliers, with a proprietary Virtual Power Plant (VPP), AI-driven trading and award-winning customer service. Now we are bringing this full stack to commercial and small-scale industrial (C&I) customers.

You own the sales side of this new business line end to end:

• Go-to-market: Define target segments and sales approach for commercial and small-scale industrial customers (e.g. SMEs, multi-site businesses, manufacturing, data centers)
• Pipeline: Generate leads through your network and partner channels (e.g. energy consultants, hardware providers, brokers)
• Deals: Close deals with our first C&I clients and onboard them
• Key account management: Build long-term relationships with our C&I clients and grow them over time
• Team: Build and lead the C&I sales team as the business grows

Qualifications

• 3+ years in C&I energy sales, key account management or origination (e.g. at a utility, supplier, trading house or flex aggregator), with a strong track record of closing deals
• Independent and hands-on: you love building a new business line from scratch
• Understanding of C&I sourcing strategies and energy cost optimization (e.g. storage, grid fees, flexibility)
• Open to using AI and modern CRM tools in your daily sales work
• Willingness to travel within Germany to visit clients and attend industry fairs and events
• German (C1 to C2) and English (C1)

Requirements

• Strong network in the German energy and industrial sector
• Previous start-up experience or experience building up a new business line
• Experience with energy management for data centers
