[Hiring] Business Development Representative @Doxim

Role Description

We’re looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to identify new prospects, build a strong sales pipeline, and help drive Doxim’s continued growth. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Development, you’ll collaborate closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to strengthen lead-generation efforts, expand our market reach, and turn prospective opportunities into meaningful business relationships.

This role can be performed remotely from Ontario, British Columbia, or Alberta. Hours will generally be aligned with the Eastern time zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate contact with prospects via phone, email, and social media to qualify leads and assess business needs.
• Partner with Doxim Sales Executives to produce account strategy plans and action them.
• Consistently experiment with new prospecting tactics as a team.
• Be recognized as a trusted advisor to our clients as you describe our value proposition and how we have helped others in similar roles and industries.
• Identify and research potential clients through cold outreach, inbound leads, and market analysis to build a strong sales pipeline.
• Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for Account Executives or senior sales staff with qualified prospects.
• Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline activity using CRM tools.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies and improve lead generation effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary degree in Business Administration or related field experience required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in business to business sales.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce.

Physical Demands

This role requires prolonged periods of sitting and extensive computer use, including frequent use of a keyboard and mouse.

Travel

Up to 30%; to meet with clients on occasion and attend industry conferences and corporate events.
