[Hiring] Business Development Executive @Equifax

Role Description

Equifax’s US Information Solutions (USIS) business unit is seeking a strategic Business Development Executive to join our Insurance sales team. This Business Development Executive position will focus on owning and growing Equifax's presence in the InsurTech industry through net-new business acquisition.

• Drive Full-Cycle Sales:
  • Drive strong pipeline development, prospecting, and execution to identify, manage, and close net-new opportunities across the Equifax solution portfolio.
• Execute Strategic Discovery:
  • Research prospective clients' business imperatives—including risk, fraud, and marketing strategies—to define and execute sales strategies that drive profitable growth and meaningful value.
• Build Enterprise Relationships:
  • Network to build strong foundations with economic buyers, decision-makers, and influencers, seamlessly connecting them with relevant Equifax counterparts.
• Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Lead account strategy motions, leveraging internal solution and delivery teams effectively at appropriate times to advance and win opportunities.
• Manage Procurement:
  • Respond effectively to prospect RFIs and RFPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
• 7-10+ years of full-cycle, net-new B2B sales and business development experience (prospecting to close) targeting Enterprise clients
• Proven experience selling risk, data, credit, or similar complex solutions into InsurTech, platform companies, or carriers strongly preferred
• Proficiency in CRM platforms, specifically Salesforce, and other sales tools such as Gong, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• A resilient, agile, and self-disciplined approach with a sense of urgency and a "play to win" drive to deliver results

Requirements

• Direct experience working in sales at a credit bureau or working at or selling into InsurTechs with an understanding of the insurance regulatory environment
• A collaborative team player who takes feedback with humility and the confidence to adapt and try again
• An intellectually curious, insights-driven mindset
