[Hiring] Account Executive @MYFO

Role Description

We're looking for an Account Executive to own the sales cycle end-to-end and drive new revenue with family offices, investment firms, and financial institutions. This role is central to converting pipeline into signed business and will work closely with Marketing, Partnerships, and Sales Development to close deals and keep the pipeline healthy.

The right candidate has experience selling SaaS into accounting, fintech, or financial services environments, ideally with exposure to complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

• Own the sales cycle end to end, from prospecting through close, partnering with cross-functional teammates to deliver an exceptional client experience at every stage.
• Understand each prospect's goals in depth and translate them into a clear case for MyFO's value and ROI.
• Develop tailored proposals, negotiate terms, and drive new revenue by advancing opportunities from first contact through signed agreement.
• Manage a pipeline of high-value accounts against quarterly and annual targets, keeping forecasts current and sharing regular progress updates.
• Represent MyFO at client meetings, conferences, and industry events, building relationships, generating qualified leads, and strengthening our presence in the market.
• Stay aligned with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success so growth initiatives move together toward shared goals.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years selling SaaS, ideally with experience in accounting, fintech, ERP, or financial software.
• Experience managing sales cycles that involve several decision-makers and longer evaluation windows.
• A working knowledge of accounting and financial processes - comfortable speaking the language of CPAs, controllers, and CFOs.
• Strong writing and presentation skills.
• Hands-on HubSpot experience, plus general comfort with sales tools.
• Bonus for background working with family offices or private investment firms.

• Full-time role, ideally based in Toronto or NYC. HQ is Vancouver, BC, but we're remote-friendly.
• Compensation: $180-240k CAD OTE.
