Role Description

We are seeking an Account Executive to develop new business opportunities, expand existing customer relationships, and advance qualified opportunities across the combined SABRE and Boundary Electric portfolio. In this role, you will manage opportunities from initial engagement and qualification through quotation, negotiation, and award. Working closely with our estimating, engineering, applications, and operations teams, you will help deliver solutions that align with customer needs and business objectives.

This position is ideal for a technically credible business developer who enjoys creating opportunities rather than waiting for inbound leads. While engineering expertise is not required, you should possess sufficient electrical industry knowledge to understand customer requirements, identify opportunities, and engage the appropriate technical resources when needed.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of experience in enterprise, technical, or B2B sales within the electrical industry.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline; relevant technical education; or an equivalent combination of industry experience and sales expertise.
• Proven ability to independently prospect, develop new accounts, and generate qualified opportunities.
• Experience managing technical, project-based, or high-value sales opportunities.
• Strong relationship-building, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with procurement, engineering, commercial, and executive-level stakeholders.
• Strong CRM discipline and experience managing a sales pipeline.
• Ability and willingness to travel as required.

• Medium- and low-voltage switchgear
• E-Houses and power distribution centres
• Motor control centres (MCCs)
• Substations and related electrical infrastructure
