Role Description

This role involves establishing Syndigo's presence in Australia as the VP of Sales. You will be responsible for driving sales, building relationships with potential clients, and navigating the unique market landscape.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored for the Australian market.
  • Identify and engage potential clients, building a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and outreach efforts specific to Australia.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to the leadership team for product and strategy improvements.
  • Close deals and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Report on sales metrics, forecasts, and key performance indicators.

As our first sales hire in Australia, you will receive comprehensive support to ensure your success in this role. This includes:

  • Direct Presales Support in Australia: Access to a dedicated presales headcount for demos and tailored presentations.
  • Training and Onboarding: A thorough training program covering products, sales processes, and market positioning.
  • Marketing Resources: Access to tailored marketing materials and campaigns for the Australian audience.
  • Sales Enablement Tools: Tools and software that streamline sales processes and enhance productivity.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Ongoing support from the USA-based leadership team and experienced sales professionals.
  • Collaboration Opportunities: Regular check-ins and collaborative sessions with cross-functional teams.
  • Performance Metrics: Clear and measurable performance indicators to track success.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of a proven track record in sales, preferably within the SaaS industry.
  • 1+ years of previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in scaling sales efforts and leading teams is a plus.
