Role Description
This role involves developing and maintaining a sales strategy within the territory to maximize success and effectiveness in meeting growth initiatives and targets through end user channels.
- Manages the overall sales functions of the business unit within the assigned territory to create a competitive advantage.
- Maximizes customer satisfaction and optimizes return on investment for the business unit.
- Possesses a general understanding of the products or services provided by SSS and their relation to overall operations and customers.
- Collaborates with both internal teams and customers for timely and accurate completion of quotations, projects, reports, and accountability metrics.
- Maintains good housekeeping standards and practices safety daily utilizing appropriate protective gear.
- Strives to be punctual and maintain a high standard of attendance.
- Participates in company-sponsored training and maintains all required job training records.
- Responsible for following all SSS policies and procedures, including the employee manual and the Quality & HSE System.
- Performs any other duties as required.
Qualifications
- ABET accredited Engineering degree and/or 5-7 years of experience in Sales within the Sealing or Power Production industry.
- Experience in Technical Sales required.
- Travel required 75% or exceeding.
- Must have motivational skills and managerial skills with a high sense of urgency to recognize equipment, process, and industry opportunities in the market.
- Experience with and enjoys networking within niche industry.
- Interpersonal skills are critical for optimum communication with customers and internal SSS.
- Able to organize and prioritize work assignments.
- Must have a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to work in a team and lead teams to ensure successful program implementation.
- Good written and verbal reporting skills.
- Excellent computer application skills in MS Office products.
