Role Description

This role involves driving sales in the tech industry while using technical expertise to close high-value deals.

Act as the technical expert in pre-sales conversations, demonstrating how our solutions address client challenges.
Identify customer pain points and provide tailored technical solutions to meet their needs.
Partner with account executives to develop and close sales opportunities.
Conduct detailed needs analysis and propose relevant IT solutions, software, or cloud-based services.
Create compelling sales presentations and technical proposals that resonate with stakeholders.
Develop proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations to showcase the effectiveness of our solutions.
Build long-term relationships with clients by providing expert guidance and post-sales support.
Conduct training sessions or workshops to ensure clients fully utilize our solutions.
Maintain regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and uncover new opportunities.
Work closely with the product and engineering teams to refine solutions based on customer feedback.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Support marketing efforts by contributing technical insights to content, webinars, and whitepapers.

Qualifications

Must be based in the USA.
Minimum 3+ years in a Technical Sales Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer role within the IT or software industry.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, SaaS, networking, or cybersecurity.
Ability to translate technical features into real-world business benefits.
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to assess complex technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
Comfortable working independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a distributed team.
