Role Description

As a Technical Account Manager, you will oversee thriving customer relationships as the customer’s guide to achieving exceptional security. You will serve as the customer’s trusted security advisor and function as an extension of their team, imparting technical and security guidance and best practices.

  • Learn to be the partner’s/customer’s chief navigator, charting a path towards security maturity.
  • Map the customer’s journey and architect a resilient posture.
  • Act as a customer advocate, using your knowledge to shape the development of technology and service.

This role will be based in Spain.

A day in the life of a Technical Account Manager at WatchGuard involves:

  • Meeting with partners/customers to review their security posture.
  • Reviewing security alerts and incidents, emerging threats, and support tickets.
  • Being an escalation point for customer communication issues.
  • Documenting learned information to share with teammates and partners/customers.

Qualifications

  • Customer-focused, data-driven, and process-oriented professional with Windows systems administration experience.
  • Track record of success within a technical customer-facing role.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and face unique obstacles with positivity and integrity.
  • Commitment to professional development and business growth in a rapidly expanding market.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, communicate well with partner teams, and understand the customer experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English; knowledge of German is a plus.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical account management experience or 2.5 years in a cybersecurity technical customer-facing role.
