Role Description

We are seeking a Strategic Partnerships Manager to own and scale our partner network. This person will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing relationships with important strategic partners related to a new product initiative. This is a high-impact role that will shape the growth of a major product—and Thatch more broadly—by securing key partners, driving revenue, and optimizing the overall partner experience.

  • Invent new partner models: Pioneer creative ways to work with partners who have never engaged with a company like Thatch—yet are eager to. You’ll design innovative partnership and product models that bring new categories and services into our ecosystem.
  • Define and execute the partnership strategy: Own the end-to-end partnership strategy for a key business unit, leveraging Referral, Reseller, and other models to ensure Thatch members have access to the best care and experiences available.
  • Source and close high-impact partners: Identify, pitch, and sign top-tier healthcare providers and service partners. You’ll focus on securing a diverse, high-quality mix of partners that align with the evolving needs of our members.
  • Structure smart commercial models: Craft revenue-sharing agreements and commercial structures that align incentives, drive mutual value, and set up both Thatch and our partners for long-term success.
  • Own the partner relationship: Act as the primary owner of partner success—ensuring partners are delivering meaningful outcomes for our members, gaining value from the partnership, and uncovering new opportunities to grow and deepen the relationship.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering to develop scalable partnership models, launch co-branded experiences, and drive member engagement through seamless integration.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships or business development, ideally at a tech company.
  • Proven ability to source, negotiate, and execute strategic partnerships that drive revenue and adoption.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across product, engineering, and operations.
  • Comfort in a fast-moving, early-stage environment with the ability to think both strategically and tactically.

  • Experience or interest in finance, healthcare, or benefits.
  • Experience working with product and/or engineering teams to solve complex user and partner pain points.
  • Excitement about and interest in digital health products and services.
