Role Description

The Sr. Sales Support Engineer position provides technical sales support to the Imaging Products & Solutions of Americas – Professional Division.

Support Sony Account Managers, Sony Resellers, System Integrators, & their sales force.
Provide support in the form of product demos, product clinics, and product training sessions.
Assist Reps and Account Managers in closing sales.
Strong understanding of networks, computer operating systems, and broadcast infrastructures.
Support Professional products including Studio Cameras and Imaging products.
Provide in-person and virtual dealer product support.
Resolve technical issues with Sony products in the field.
Ensure Resellers, Sales Reps, Distributors, and System Integrators have all technical materials.
Support key customers through post-sales support, including firmware and software updates.
Gather information and provide feedback to Marketing & Product Management on product issues.
Act as a liaison between Sales and Marketing/Product management.
Provide support for and attend Regional and national shows and demonstrations, as required.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; or High School diploma with 8 years of related experience.
4-6 years of related business in the Broadcast Market.
Experience with broadcast cameras and related equipment.
Strong presentation skills.
In-depth understanding of computers and their operating systems such as Windows 10/11.
Intermediate skill level in MS Office.
Must be able to travel 60% of the time, as required.

Requirements

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $87,831.00 to $117,109.00.
Actual base salary offered depends on various factors including qualifications, experience, skills, education, and location.
