Role Description
OneSpan is looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our North EMEA team. The “Solutions Engineer” is responsible for all pre-sales activities in the Nordics. This is a unique opportunity for a self-motivated Solution Engineer to help develop and shape the OneSpan business in the Nordics market.
- Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager to analyze customer’s technical objectives for implementing OneSpan’s products.
- Advising customers on how and where to apply OneSpan’s and/or its strategic partners’ products and solutions.
- Assisting in pre-sales activities on OneSpan products and solutions (e.g. RFP’s, RFI’s) via telephone and face-to-face with prospective customers.
- Presenting and demonstrating OneSpan products and solutions/partners Products/Alternatives from the technical side to prospective customers.
- Developing and leading workshops for customers and partners.
- Relaying customer feedback (requirements, new functionality requests) to Product Management.
- Obtaining detailed technical/business knowledge on the Strategic Partners’ applications.
- Actively participating in trade shows and seminars hosted by OneSpan.
- Providing product training for channel partners and customers/prospects.
- Performing and following up on the integration of OneSpan’s products into Strategic Partners’ applications and solutions.
- Following up in Salesforce.com or other corporate reporting tools.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/IT.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to react in commercial situations.
- Ability to work well under pressure and within time-critical guidelines.
- Certifications in Cyber Security.
- Work experience with payment/fraud management/fraud detection solutions is an advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years cumulative, full-time pre-sales work experience in cyber security domains.
- Strong background (7+ years) in the IT industry.
- Knowledge and competency to apply best practices to cloud security.
- Experience in Network & Security solution and/or architecture design (2+ years).
- Broad technical knowledge of IT standards and protocols, specifically Windows, UNIX/LINUX, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
- Practical experience with web and/or mobile development (Java/.NET/Ruby/...).
- Experience with technical standards/protocols: REST, SOAP, JSON, PKI, Oauth.
- Knowledge of security standards and frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, CISSP, Fido are a plus.
- Fluency in English and one of the Nordic languages, preferably Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian.
