Role Description

The Business Development Representative at our Client will be a key player in driving the company's expansion. This role involves outbound appointment setting and inside sales calls, with a focus on assisting businesses across the Western, Southern, and Midwestern U.S. regions in overcoming staffing challenges.

  • Make phone calls to prospective clients to introduce Ascend Staffing services and establish initial connections.
  • Set appointments with hiring managers and company decision-makers to discuss staffing needs.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently through Outlook and Microsoft Booking.
  • Use CRM to track and manage your pipeline of potential clients.
  • Research Ascend Staffing's local markets to identify new opportunities and launch email and phone call campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.
  • Meet or exceed targets for appointments set and pipeline growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience with outbound appointment setting or inside sales calls.
  • A strong desire and ability to meet or exceed goals.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with clients professionally.
  • Previous leadership experience is not required.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to contribute to team success.
