Role Description

Trifecta is seeking a highly skilled, experienced Solution Sales Engineer who will play a critical role in delivering Salesforce technology solutions, collaborating with sales and delivery teams, and guiding prospects and customers to achieve their business objectives through technical expertise and strategic Salesforce solutions.

  • Help coordinate and perform technical sales activities related to prospective customers and partners, including performing demos, holding scoping sessions, and creation of high-level solution diagrams
  • Act as liaison between sales and delivery teams to understand client budgets and needs and to educate sales team on level of effort required
  • Discuss trade-offs of different solution options with customers
  • Effectively transfer industry, technical, and product knowledge to customers
  • Learn relevant product capabilities, architecture best practices and third-party solution features
  • Participate in technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospects
  • Clearly articulate business architecture (mission/vision, capability models, capability assessments) and technical architecture (current and future state diagrams, solution best practices, reference architectures) recommendations to client
  • Successfully match customer issues and requirements to proposed solutions and desired business outcomes
  • Set up and operate sandbox environments and data for customer demonstrations and evaluations
  • Understand how to effectively sell the value of Trifecta’s expertise and methodology to prospects
  • Deliver presentations and demos that communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
  • Research and understand Salesforce competitor product landscape and be able to articulate the value of Salesforce solutions against competitor offerings
  • Build and cultivate long-lasting relationships with client stakeholders and become a trusted advisor to CIO / CTO / EA level client contacts and their teams
  • Attain and maintain certifications that strategically align with both company and career growth plans
  • Participate in all appropriate industry, sales, and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
  • Contribute articles, webinar content and other relevant solution architecture content to help socialize Trifecta's technical expertise

Qualifications

  • 5-6 years of experience working with Salesforce cloud solutions in a customer facing and solutioning capacity, ideally in the B2B space
  • Deep understanding of the capabilities and limitations of Salesforce products
  • Fundamental knowledge of software architecture and software development process
  • Excellent organizational, time management, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills
  • A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based environment
  • Ability to travel as needed

Requirements

  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry
