Role Description

ShipperHQ is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a background in SaaS sales and the ambition to grow into an Inside Sales Representative role. This is a chance to get in on the ground floor of a fast-growing startup and industry leader in e-commerce shipping technology. The SDR identifies, qualifies, and nurtures new business opportunities for our Sales Team. This person plays a key role in introducing ShipperHQ’s value to store owners, directors, and C-level executives, helping them optimize their e-commerce shipping strategies.

  • Conduct proactive outreach to inbound trial customers, engaging them to understand their goals and challenges while qualifying prospects based on needs, budget, and timelines.
  • Handle inbound sales calls, emails, and live chat inquiries, providing timely and knowledgeable responses to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Schedule qualified handovers to Account Executives, ensuring a smooth transition with detailed prospect insights.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of immediate and long-term prospects through consistent follow-ups, personalized outreach, and relationship-building strategies.
  • Stay informed on product updates, industry trends, and competitive insights to effectively position solutions and address customer pain points.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years in a SaaS sales role focused on inside sales
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and software
  • Experience with sales processes and funnel management
  • Background in the service industry is a plus—we love candidates who know how to connect with people

Logistics

  • This is a full-time position
  • Remote work available within the US; preference for local candidates to work in a hybrid model from our Austin, TX office, two days per week
