Role Description
The Sales Coordinator supports the Sales Director and is responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination of activities within the Sales Department and with various departments of the company. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the process of validating Agent and Partner contracts
- Monitoring the knowledge level of agents and partners regarding solutions provided by Smiths Detection
- Supporting the Sales team in managing relationships with distributors and agents
- Acting as the marketing reference within the SD Southern Europe & Africa (SE&A) commercial organization
- Undertaking direct marketing actions to increase SD's market share in the SE&A region
- Ensuring regular and targeted communication to promote brand image and commercial achievements
- Organizing various commercial and marketing events for the SE&A region
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication (or at least a BTS)
- 10 years of experience in a similar role within a large international industrial group
- Bilingual in English/French; a third European language is appreciated
- Proficiency in basic SAP operations
- Basic knowledge of marketing databases and direct marketing tools (Hubspot)

Requirements
- Organization of events and trade shows
- Production and monitoring of the marketing budget for the SE&A region (under the supervision of the Commercial Director)
- Management of spending commitments in SAP
- Execution of direct marketing campaigns and customer satisfaction surveys
