Role Description
The Regional Business Director is responsible for building and maintaining a successful sales team. This position manages a team of Territory Managers with the desired outcome of meeting sales objectives and national directives. This will be accomplished by:
- Effectively hiring and developing personnel
- Managing resources
- Effective use of written and verbal communication
- Providing clear direction and coaching
- Conducting successful sales meetings
- Performing sales analysis
- Working in the field with the sales team
In addition, the Regional Business Director will establish high work standards and assure that the team works in accordance with all company policies.
Qualifications
- Graduated with a B.A. / B.S. degree
- Superior organizational and administrative skills
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience
- Demonstrates and sustains examples of strong positive leadership skills
- Recommendation by Director, National Sales with approval from the Chief Commercial Officer

- Consistent high-level performance in sales
- High level of contribution to the management team
- Shows initiative and holds self and team accountable
- Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making ability
- Always operates with a high degree of integrity and tactfulness
- Demonstrate a high-level understanding of the Neurelis market
- Demonstrated ability to successfully use Neurelis resources in the field
- Demonstrated leadership behaviors as a Senior Territory Manager or Executive Territory Manager
- Consistent proactive engagement in behaviors and activities that advance both the business success and culture at Neurelis

Physical Demands and Work Environment
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Requires:
- Extensive daily driving
- Getting in and out of an automobile
- Carrying materials and samples (10 to 20 pounds)
- Going up and down stairs
- Walking throughout medical buildings and to and from physician offices
Travel Requirements
- 50-80% travel required
- Overnight travel required: Yes
