Role Description
As a Partner Solution Engineer (pre-sales), you will play a key role in developing Sourcegraph’s partner ecosystem. Partners are key to help extend Sourcegraph’s brand, to source new opportunities, to support the closing of business, and to drive customer success.
- Collaborate with the partner team to find, develop, activate, and manage partnership relationships.
- Support our largest and most complex prospects and deployments.
- Prioritize partners and activities within partner relationships.

Work with the following types of partnerships:
- Channel partnerships: Evangelize Sourcegraph to recruit professional services and reseller firms worldwide.
- Software partnerships and technology alliances: Help potential integration partners understand Sourcegraph and build integrations.
- Cloud partnerships: Develop relationships with key Cloud partners and work through technical aspects of their partner programs.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years experience in a relevant role such as Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, or Solution Architecture across a technical product.
- Experience selling Enterprise software solutions.
- Strong interest in how partners work together for mutual benefit.
- Well versed in back end infrastructure architecture.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
- Enjoy building tools, templates, and technical enablement collateral.
- Organized approach to work with the ability to manage concurrent relationships.
- Ability to work independently and shift between various tasks.
Requirements
- Excited about the prospect of being directly involved in the advent of generative AI.
- Technical inclination with experience writing code in JavaScript, Python, Java, or Go.
