Role Description
At Perten, a PerkinElmer Company, we are a leading provider of lab instruments tailored to the food industry. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced sales manager to join our team and drive our capital sales efforts across North America.
- Lead and execute our capital sales strategy within the food sector.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders.
- Manage a high-performing sales team.
- Drive growth through innovative sales techniques and solutions.
- Foster a culture of excellence and motivate your team to achieve outstanding results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years capital sales experience, with a focus on capital sales in the food industry or laboratory instruments.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and use insights to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
- Competitive nature and proven track record of consistent sales achievement.
- Proficiency working at the highest levels within customer organizations is critical.
- Thorough understanding of business factors affecting account's profitability and competitive status.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and industry events.
- Must possess and maintain driver’s license.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales management, with a focus on capital sales in the food industry or laboratory instruments.
Benefits
- The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $155,000 to $165,000.
- The final base pay offered will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, and individual qualifications.
