Role Description

The Market Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving the growth and strategic direction of Telix Pharmaceuticals by focusing on market development within the Urology space. This individual will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including:

  • LUGPA (Large Urology Group Practice Association)
  • UroGPO (Urology Group Purchasing Organization)
  • Private Equity groups
  • National integrated urology practices
  • Other relevant urology call points

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Conducting in-depth market analysis to identify growth opportunities
  • Formulating and implementing market development strategies
  • Collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and strategic accounts teams
  • Engaging with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals
  • Building strategic partnerships
  • Driving revenue growth by expanding presence in the urology and oncology markets

Key Accountabilities

  • Urology Network Building & Expertise: Cultivate strong relationships with urologists, urology clinics, medical professionals, and C-Level key stakeholders within the urology field. Develop an in-depth understanding of our products to effectively educate and influence urology specialists.
  • Urology Education Initiatives: Plan and execute engaging urology-focused educational events, workshops, and seminars.
  • Referral Opportunities: Identify and leverage strategic opportunities for referrals and collaborative initiatives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to understand dynamics, trends, and opportunities within the urology and oncology segments.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive market development strategies tailored to the Urology portfolio.
  • Sales Growth: Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify and pursue target markets and new business opportunities.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for market development initiatives.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success of market development strategies.
  • Strategic Marketing: Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to promote and position Telix as a leader in nuclear medicine innovation.
  • Patient Advocacy: Champion patient-centric care by ensuring all initiatives prioritize the well-being of patients.
  • Compliance Adherence: Ensure all urology-related interactions comply with relevant industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Medical, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Marketing, or related discipline) required.
  • Proven track record (5+ years) in market development, business development, or marketing roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a focus on urology.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of urology and oncology markets, including industry trends and key stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA) is a plus.
  • Key Opinion Leader development required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a strong urology-focused approach.
  • Familiarity with urology industry regulations, compliance considerations, and ethical guidelines.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Passion for patient advocacy and ensuring their best interests are represented.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of autonomously driving urology initiatives.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • 75% overnight travel.
