Role Description
This role involves driving strategic CAD sales and helping businesses transform their engineering and design processes.
- Achieve assigned quota by selling PTC’s CAD software solutions to targeted industry verticals and named customer lists
- Develop revenue forecast in coordination with Regional Director and the CAD segment’s Go-To-Market Vice President
- Prospect and develop new accounts while maintaining sales within existing accounts
- Investigate and understand the internal business processes of clients and present tailored technology solutions
- Build relationships with key executives (CEO, COO, CFO, CIO) and departmental managers
- Drive complex CAD software sales by identifying, prospecting, and engaging enterprise-level clients
- Act as a Sales Engineer, translating complicated CAD features into easy-to-understand product pitches
- Develop trusted partnerships with high-level decision-makers to close large-scale deals
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead qualification through demos, RFP responses, negotiations, and final contract signing
- Collaborate with channel partners, product engineers, and marketing staff to maximize market reach
- Use data-driven forecasting and pipeline management to meet or exceed sales quotas
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise software sales, preferably in CAD or a related engineering software environment
- Prior experience or education in mechanical engineering, architecture, or computer science preferred
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities
- Experience working with channel partners, distributors, and internal teams
- High energy, driven personality with a desire to climb the career ladder

- Ability to communicate effectively with technical buyers
- Proven track record of crafting tailored solutions and finalizing high-dollar contracts
