Role Description

This role is responsible for expanding and deepening customer relationships by identifying customers' needs and matching their needs with selections and resources within the colleague's assigned business line and across all business lines of Associated Bank.

Originate complete and compliant consumer loan applications for existing and new customers.
Assist in the expedient processing of loan applications through regular communication with borrowers, branch partners, and loan fulfillment staff.
Utilize all channels (Inbound calls, Direct to Consumer, LO partner, Branch partner, Online, and Virtual Sales) to identify customer needs and match them with financial solutions.
Operate in full compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Accept consumer loan applications from borrowers and provide all required application disclosures.
Ensure loan applications are complete and compliant with loan policies, regulatory and legal requirements.
Maintain open lines of communication with applicants and follow up timely as necessary.
Conduct loan pre-qualification interviews and recommend appropriate loan programs.
Originate consumer loans using good judgment and effective communication.
Follow up on leads generated through personal efforts, branch referrals, and marketing promotions.
Achieve sales goals established for the position.
Prepare records and reports regarding loan solicitation, origination, and closing activities.
Cross-sell other Associated Bank products and services.
Conduct regular outbound call activity from sales campaign lists to increase loan production.

Qualifications

High School or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Less than 2 years of residential loan origination, consumer lending, processing, or credit experience with a financial institution or mortgage banker/broker required.
