Role Description
The Opportunity: Avantor is looking for a motivated BioPharma Field Account Manager (f/m/d) to join our team in Ireland who has experience with collaborating with large Pharmaceutical customers. In your role, you will manage your designated customers and ensure that our solutions match their business needs to the highest degree. The successful candidate will be the driving force behind the continued health and growth of some of our biggest BioPharma customer relationships, and as such will be given the autonomy to use their own experience and initiative to determine an effective approach towards reaching our targets as a business. This is a full-time, permanent position. You can be based anywhere within Ireland.
- Working hours: Monday-Friday, mostly remote working and at customer sites.
Qualifications
- College level, ideally having studied a science or business subject (not essential)
- Proven Account Management or Customer Relationship Management experience in a life sciences environment
- Demonstrable experience building strong, profitable relationships with large customer accounts
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Sciences background is preferred
- Desire to provide consistently high levels of customer service
- Comfortable with autonomously handling complex queries and questions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, particularly with Excel
- Experience working with a CRM (e.g. SAP C4C or similar) would be an asset

- Schedule regular virtual or in-person visits with our customers
- Utilise our internal sales and specialist teams to support with implementation strategies
- Plan, forecast and achieve objectives and KPI’s in your territory
