Role Description

This role involves providing a full range of technical support to our customers, including:

Planning and organizing equipment installation
Operator training
Service and repair of Print Finishing Systems, Wide Format Printers, and High-End Document System machines
Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving equipment failures on customer sites
Training key equipment operators on optimal operating performance
Solving technical problems related to equipment breakdown/reliability
Advising Service Management on customer satisfaction and product performance
Developing service business through high service standards and customer satisfaction
Providing remote advice on equipment/software systems
Planning daily route/call plan for productive use of time
Completing and returning service paperwork/electronic files
Attending and understanding engineer training to achieve technical certification
Interfacing with internal and external customers on a technical level
Managing and updating spare part car stock
Complying with departmental changes for successful service department operation
Providing high-level technical service to develop customer relationships

Qualifications

Experience with Electro-Mechanical Paper Handling equipment, Large Production Print, or Print Finishing Equipment
Diploma/Certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronic engineering
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve critical equipment failures
Willingness to pay attention to detail and follow procedures
Ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently
Strong organizational, planning, and scheduling skills
Clean & full driver’s license
